Security advisories in Discord

Patch Time polls GitHub Security Advisories. It posts each matching advisory to the Discord channels that you select.

One record per CVE

Patch Time groups reports by CVE ID. A second source updates the existing record.

Channel thresholds

Each channel has a minimum CVSS score. You can set a different score for each channel.

Shared work queue

Replicas claim jobs in PostgreSQL. A restart does not drop a pending message.

How to start

  1. Sign in with Discord.
  2. Add the bot to a server where you have Manage Server permission.
  3. Select channels and set the minimum CVSS score for each channel.
  4. Patch Time polls the source every 15 minutes and sends new matches as Discord embeds.
